The 2008 A4UExpo is under way and already the event has been worth attending. The wordpress session by Joost de Valk on wordpress SEO optimisation provided attendees with useful tips and advice. All of which will be used to hopefully improve rank and generate affiliate earnings.
The session also helped erase memories of the so called key note speech. A key note should be interesting, entertaining and set the tone for the event. Sadly it lacked any of these attributes. If it was a colour it would be beige. I’m not sure a keynote address is required for expo but if it is it needs to be a bit more colourful.
After Joost, Sunshine.co.uk helped further brighten things up with the unveiling of their new tool for affiliates. SunPress looks to be innovative and will give travel affiliates a useful start in travel. It still requires work from the affiliate to develop content and build links.
And building link advice was on offer in Extreme SEO. It was an interesting session made lively by panel members Dave Naylor and Mediadonis. As interesting as it was, in truth some of the comment left me baffled and wondering about the mysticalness of extreme SEO.
At this point the day ended (so I missed Fraser in the State of the Nation oops sorry Fraser). However, it does mean there’s been time to recharge before the Platform-A Thames Cruise later this evening.
So far, so good!
